What was the highlight of The Lunar Patong
Lovely staff. Guests not so much.
The young lady at the reception is an asset to the place and deserves recognition. She was left alien by other members to dealing with a bunch of recalcitrant tourists upon checkout. Their attitude and offensive behavious would strain the patience of any number of religious figures. She is pretty much the only big positive of the place. Oh! And the (older) security guy at the front gate to the car park. Great sense of humour.
The guests. Several groups. Some jumped queues, most whinged constantly to the reception staff, one group of five (staying in one room it seemed!) argued with management about their overstay, while others were generally completely inconsiderate of other guests. For that reason, I'll never stay again.

location is good, with the Brakefast.
the swimming pool is dirty and you get no sun at any time of day. House keeping quite often forgot to leave essentials in the room after cleaning !
